The First Day of ACEF Indonesia Environmental Protection and Green Energy Delegation Concludes Successfully
On April 20, 2026, the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) launched a thematic delegation visit to Indonesia focusing on environmental protection and green energy. On the first day, three high-level exchange and cooperation sessions were successfully held. This visit serves as a key implementation of the “Belt and Road” green brand international expansion initiative, building a comprehensive, multi-level, and efficient platform for China–Indonesia ecological industry cooperation.
In the morning, the delegation visited Karawang, West Java, and held an exchange meeting with Subang Smartpolitan Industrial Park. Attendees included Mr. Abednego Purnomo, Chief Commercial Officer of the park, Mr. Tang Luzhe, Manager, Mr. Shi Xiang, Secretary General of the Belt and Road Ecological Industry Cooperation Committee of ACEF, Ms. Rachel Liu, Head of Southeast Asia Affairs, Ms. Celine Du, Deputy Director-General of the International Department, along with representatives from over 20 Chinese enterprises in wastewater treatment, solid waste management, green park development, and clean energy sectors.
During the meeting, the Indonesian side introduced environmental management standards, policy requirements, and green transition needs of the industrial park, while the Chinese delegation presented China’s technological strengths and cooperation intentions. Both sides reached three key consensuses in accelerating project implementation, exploring diversified cooperation models, and establishing a regular communication mechanism.
In the afternoon, two additional exchange sessions were held in Jakarta, including the China–Indonesia Environmental Industry Cooperation Exchange Meeting, with in-depth engagement with KIKT and Sinar Mas Group.
This was followed by the China–Indonesia Low-Carbon Development and Climate Investment & Financing Exchange Meeting, attended by WRI Indonesia.
On the first day, the delegation completed key engagements across industrial parks, industries, and think tanks, achieving substantial results. This visit marks the full launch of China–Indonesia cooperation in environmental protection and green energy.
