All-China Environment Federation and Russian-Chinese Guild of Commmerce Join Hands to Build a Green Cooperation Platform — Promoting Deep Integration of China-Russia Environmental Industries
On the afternoon of August 1, 2025, Shi Xiang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Belt and Road Eco-Industrial Cooperation Working Committee of the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF), led a delegation to visit the Beijing Representative Office of the Russian-Chinese Guild of Commmerce. A friendly meeting was held with Vice Presidents Kirill Lesnikov and Ashetov Timur, as well as Director of the Development Department Zapolskii Igor. In a cordial atmosphere, the two sides deepened mutual understanding and jointly envisioned a new blueprint for cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
With a shared commitment to the concept of sustainable development, both parties agreed to jointly promote the integration of ideas and technological dialogue between China and Russia in areas such as renewable energy, circular economy, and water ecosystem management. They aim to leverage the flexibility of civil society organizations to foster an open and inclusive cooperation ecosystem for environmental enterprises from both countries. The two sides committed to building a collaborative model of “joint R&D, co-development of standards, and shared outcomes,” establishing a platform for China-Russia enterprise exchange, deepening project alignment, assisting Russian enterprises in understanding the Chinese environmental protection market, and promoting two-way investment — all to jointly create new highlights of a green Silk Road.
Looking ahead, the All-China Environment Federation will continue to serve as a bridge, promoting the implementation of more green projects, supporting countries along the Belt and Road in achieving green transformation, and working together to build a better future where humanity and nature coexist in harmony.
