Notice on Issuing the 2025 Work Plan of the Belt and Road Eco-Industry Cooperation Committee of the All-China Environment Federation(ACEF)
To all members and relevant organizations:
The Belt and Road Eco-Industry Cooperation Committee of the All-China Environment Federation (hereinafter referred to as the “BRIC”) was established as a branch of the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) to thoroughly implement the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. Officially launched in Beijing on January 10, 2023, the BRIC adheres to the philosophy of “Greater China, Greater Environment, Greater Cooperation” and is committed to promoting green and sustainable development under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It actively unites relevant entities to participate in building a greener and more sustainable Belt and Road.
As an increasing number of Chinese enterprises expand globally and engage in international competition and cooperation, the demand for establishing green brands in overseas markets has become more urgent than ever. To further support Chinese enterprises in expanding their presence in the global market, the BRIC officially launched the “Belt and Road Green Brand Global Expension Initiative” on July 5, 2024. This initiative focuses on technological products, selecting and promoting a range of innovative solutions through an open call. By leveraging platform-based publicity and exchange activities, it aims to build a bridge for Chinese enterprises to enter international markets, facilitating the global expansion of their technologies, services, and products.
In 2025, the BRIC will continue to uphold the mission and strategic positioning of the ACEF. Building on the progress made, it will focus on the “Belt and Road Green Brand Global Expension Initiative”, organizing meetings, international exchanges, overseas study tours, green supply chain system development, international ecological industrial park initiatives, environmental governance technology promotion, green standards and regulations, scientific and technological evaluation, science and technology awards, expert delegations, and the promotion of green brand concepts (Please view attachment for details).
We sincerely look forward to working together with all stakeholders to further advance the Belt and Road Initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement of the global ecological environment.
