Technical principle

Hydrogen is the cleanest element and also the cleanest energy. Any process to improve hydrogen content is a process of purification and quality improvement. ZKBH technology uses high purity hydrogen as the deconstructor, under the relay catalytic conversion of liquid homogeneous and solid heterogeneous catalysts, to realize the hydrogenation conversion of generalized inferior organic hydrocarbon materials. Based on the transformation of complex hydrocarbon organic impurity hydrogen mechanism and organic polymer catalytic degradation of the polycyclic and desulfurization, heterogeneous catalysis equilibrium phase balance and single molecule hydrogenation reaction mechanism, targeted to solve organic metal, colloid asphalt and oil clean is changed into other types of impurities in raw material, realize high concentration of impurity removal.


Scope of application

Waste oils (waste cooking oil, hogwash oil, and palm acid oil) have high impurity content and are difficult to process. This problem can be well resolved by homogeneous hydrodeoxygenation and heterogeneous hydrorefining coupling process, which can effectively remove the resin, and oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, metal heteroatoms. During this process, waste oils can be transformed into clean second-generation biodiesel in a high yield.


Process flow and description

Waste oil feedstock was treated to remove mechanical impurities at first, and then mixed with liquid catalysts and hydrogen after preheating, and charged to the first stage hydrogenation reactor. In this stage, the feedstock was processed for removing resin, oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, and metal. After that, the product was separated by a liquid-gas separator, the hydrogen-rich gas was purified and then charged to the reactor for recycling, and the obtained oil-phase product directly charged to the second stage refining reactor for further processing.

In the hydrorefining stage, the first-stage oil phase product was subjected to a deep olefin saturation to improve the oxidation stability of the product and increase the heat value, while further reducing the heteroatom content to very low level. Then, the refined product was separated by a liquid-gas, and the obtained oil phase product was charged to a distillation column to obtain distillate oil at 260-350°C as the second-generation biodiesel product.


Promotion prospects

This technology is an advanced technological means of new energy enterprises represented by the production of biomass energy. It is innovative, advanced and demonstrative, and it belongs to a project encouraged by the state in terms of policy. The industrial direction promoted by it also coincides with the general trend of global environmental protection and carbon dioxide emission reduction. At the same time, the production of long carbon chain alkanes, is not only the second generation of the optimum components of biodiesel, is also in the production of aviation kerosene, biomass, biomass of special wax important raw materials, can also be used as raw material of deep processing of fine chemical companies, so has the industry correlation, located in large chemical industry park, can driving the development of biomass industry chain of chemical industry and fine chemical products.
