Technical principle
The core of this technology focuses on utilization of the dust collecting powder of the baking furnace to absorb the asphalt smoke and organic matter in the baking fume. The applied adsorption method is that the waste fume contacts with porous solids, so that the pollutants in the fume are adsorbed on the solid surface and separated from the fume flow. The waste carbon powder in the baking shop is the solid waste collected by the bag filter, which is featured by light weight, fine particles and easy to fly, regarded as a good adsorbent applied in this technology. Thus, the secondary utilization and resource regeneration of waste carbon powder can be successfully realized by means of the following procedures, collection of dust powder (waste carbon powder), adsorption of asphalt smoke or organic matter in the fume, and then separation, transportation, granulation and pelletizing.

Process flow and description
After being treated by dry reduction denitration, the fume from the baking furnace enters the adsorption circulating reactor through temperature control and fire resistance to remove the organic pollutants (e.g. asphalt smoke and benzopyrene) in the fume by means of physical adsorption, and then further goes through the desulfurization system to remove the acid pollutants (e.g. sulfur dioxide and fluorides) in the fume, and finally is emitted to the atmosphere through the chimney.
The adsorbent of this technology innovatively adopts the waste carbon powder generated from the baking process, which is the solid waste collected by the bag filter in the baking shop and could cause a series of treatment problems to the production enterprises due to its characteristics of light weight, fine particles and easy to fly in the air.
The waste carbon powder of the baking shop is fully mixed with the baking fume in the adsorption circulating reactor to absorb the asphalt smoke, benzopyrene and other components in the fume. After the gas-solid separation in the bag filter, the adsorption by-products and the baking fume are sent to the return bin, and then fed to the pelletizing process, and finally enters the baking shop in the form of filler for reuse in the baking. The asphalt and benzopyrene in the filler are heated and burned directly in the high-temperature area of the fire flue so as to form a closed-loop process. Therefore, this technology not only does not produce wastes, but also saves the purchase cost of baking filler, resulting in reducing the natural gas consumption and realizing the cyclic utilization in the process of anode block production.
The baking fume, after being treated by the adsorption circulation method, enters the desulfurization system for further treatment to absorb sulfur dioxide and fluoride in the fume. As a result, the qualified fume will exhaust to the atmosphere through the chimney.

This technology is applicable to the field of anode baking fume purification, in line with the national environmental protection and recycling policy. It is a new process and latest technology to replace the existing electric capture technology in the field of baking fume purification, in order to realize the secondary utilization and recycling of waste carbon powder, having a broad prospect for the promotion of the whole carbon industry.
