Energy and Environmental Development Research Center (EED)
Energy and Environmental Development Research Center (EED) is a comprehensive institution which dedicates to furthering global sustainable development with focus on domestic and international energy and environmental policy research, environmental quality improvement for regions and industrial parks, planning and implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality (dual-carbon) goals, as well as environmental management consulting services.
Since its establishment in 2008, EED has actively engaged in the preliminary preparation and implementation support of projects of international financial institutions (IFIs), and undertaken bidirectional consulting services for government and enterprises to "bringing in" and "going out" initiatives. EED has provided excellent technical support for the central and local governments in the fields of energy, environment, and related fields to formulate policies, evaluate implementation effects, and prepare development plans. EED also offers integrated energy and environmental solutions for enterprises and institutions, and has established long-term strategic cooperation with IFIs, benchmark enterprises, universities, and research institutions.
