Source: B&R Working Committee

Recently, the "Belt and Road" Eco-Industry Cooperation Working Committee of the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF), hereinafter referred to as the "BRIC Working Committee", organized a delegation. Headed by Tu Ruihe, Vice Chairman of ACEF, the delegation paid an inspection and exchange visit to Kingfa Science and Technology Co., Ltd.. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on technological innovation, industrial application, and future cooperation directions in the fields of plastic circular economy and bio-based materials. Li Jianjun, Chief Scientist of Kingfa Sci. & Tech., and relevant responsible persons accompanied the reception.

The delegation visited the company's exhibition hall, where they gained a systematic understanding of Kingfa Sci. & Tech.'s development history and its innovative achievements in the polymer materials sector. Subsequently, they conducted an on-site inspection of the R&D Center and the Testing and Analysis Center, and expressed full recognition of the company's scientific research capabilities and quality management system.

Focus on Circular Economy: Building a Full-Chain Recycling System

In the field of circular economy, Kingfa Sci. & Tech. demonstrated its full-chain technological system covering "recycling – sorting – modification – regeneration". The company comprehensively applies advanced processes such as mechanical recycling, dissolution recycling, and chemical recycling to address the disposal challenges of hard-to-recycle materials such as composite films and blended textiles. Through intelligent sorting and performance enhancement technologies, its recycled products have met international standards for food contact and other applications, with the entire process being traceable. Currently, such materials have been widely used in industries including automotive, medical care, and home appliances, effectively responding to the phased requirements for the proportion of recycled materials in domestic and international markets.

Advancing Bio-Based Materials: Customizable Green Material Solutions

In terms of bio-based materials, Kingfa Sci. & Tech. has established a complete industrial chain from bio-based monomer fermentation and resin synthesis to modified application. The company's independently developed PBxY variable structure technology enables flexible adjustment of bio-based content within the range of 20% to 100%, and precise control of the material degradation cycle. This ensures usability while meeting diverse scenario requirements. Relevant products have been successfully applied in packaging, daily necessities, and other fields, and the company has reserved systematic technical solutions to comply with international sustainability standards.

During the seminar, the two parties exchanged views on global plastic pollution governance, green transformation of express packaging, and marine plastic pollution prevention. Vice Chairman Tu Ruihe highly recognized Kingfa Sci. & Tech.'s achievements in green material transformation and corporate environmental responsibility practice. He pointed out that China has gained significant technological advantages in the field of plastic recycling and utilization, and should more proactively participate in the formulation of international rules to promote Chinese technical solutions as a global consensus. Chief Scientist Li Jianjun stated that Kingfa Sci. & Tech. will continue to focus on R&D in material science and technology, and looks forward to deepening practical cooperation with ACEF in areas such as standard co-development, project demonstration, and international collaboration, to jointly build a plastic circular ecosystem.

Relevant responsible persons participated in the event, including Wang Jiajia, Deputy Director of the Public Welfare Department of ACEF; Shi Xiang, Deputy Secretary-General of the BRIC Working Committee of ACEF;  Du Yang, Assistant Secretary-General of the BRIC Working Committee; Du Zejing, Deputy Director of the International Department; as well as Li Jianjun, Chief Scientist of Kingfa Sci. & Tech.; Dai Yaoshan, Secretary of the Board; Guan Huanxiang, Director of the Environmental Protection Technology Department; Ouyang Chunping, Industry Technology Manager; and Tang Hailan and Kuang Sirong, Sustainable Development Managers.

Faced with the urgent needs of global climate change and plastic pollution governance, the collaborative linkage between environmental protection organizations and technology-driven innovative enterprises is of great significance. The two parties agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism, jointly conduct policy research and industrial demonstration, and actively promote the large-scale application of green materials in key fields, so as to make positive contributions to China's achievement of the "dual carbon" goals and global environmental governance.

This exchange marks a solid step forward for the two parties in promoting green and low-carbon development and jointly building an ecological civilization. ACEF and Kingfa Sci. & Tech. will continue to strengthen communication and collaboration, pool industry wisdom and practical strength, and work together to contribute to building a beautiful China where humans and nature coexist in harmony, as well as inject new impetus into global sustainable development.
