On November 12 (local time in Brazil), during the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change,All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) organized corporate partners including Geely Holding Group, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LONGi), Windey Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd,BCI Group, and Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd., to deeply participate in a number of high-level thematic side events. The delegation systematically showcased China's innovative practices in the fields of energy transition and circular economy, shared China's explorations and experiences in these areas with partners from Brazil and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative and actively responded to the conference's emphasized themes of "action" and "practice".
Focus on the Global South: Sharing Pathways for Green Infrastructure and Energy Transition

At the forum "Forests, Agriculture and the Green Economy of the Global South" organized by IPAM (Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amaz?nia), Chinese enterprises shared sector-specific solutions. Yu Yong, General Manager of Windey International at Windey Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd, focused on elaborating the key role of wind power in advancing the green economic transition of "Global South" countries. He also introduced the group's successful cases in helping build a sustainable energy system through technological cooperation and localized development in places such as Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
Jointly Building the Green Silk Road: High-Level Side Event Builds Consensus on Cooperation
At the high-level side event "Promoting Green Innovation and Cooperation to Jointly Build the Green Silk Road" held at the China Pavilion and hosted by BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC), Mr. Li Gao, Head of the Chinese Delegation and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment; Mr. Jorge Moreira da Silva, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS); Mr. Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); and Mr. Zhao Yingmin, President of the BRIGC, attended the event and delivered speeches. Mr. Amjad Abdullah, Director General of the Climate Division at the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives, and Mr. Tse Chin-wan, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), also participated in the event. Mr. Li Gao, Head of the Chinese Delegation and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, emphasized that China has built the world's largest clean power generation system and carbon market, and is sharing green opportunities with other countries through the development of the Green Belt and Road Initiative.
Chinese Corporate Solutions: From Green Energy to Smart Computing Power
The "Belt and Road"Eco-industry Cooperation Working Committee of the All-China Environment Federation invited representatives of relevant enterprises to showcase diversified Chinese solutions at the side events:
Chen Yimin, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of Geely Holding Group systematically introduced the group's complete methanol clean energy ecosystem of "carbon capture - methanol production - transportation and refueling - end application". The group has put into operation the world's first 100,000-tonne green methanol plant and built the world's first alcohol-hydrogen electric cargo-passenger dual-purpose ship "Yuanchun 001", enabling low-carbon technology to connect global land and water areas. Geely Holding has completed the deployment of 64 low-orbit satellites for the 'Geely Constellation' Phase I, providing global IoT communication services and painting a new picture of integrated space-ground smart mobility.
Alex Ju, Founder and CEO of BCI Group, shared the vertical integration industrial solution of Datong (China) with the global industrial and climate governance communities, and explained the important role of vertical integration of the computing infrastructure industry chain in the green transition of computing power. Through seven years of arduous efforts—starting from scratch and overcoming difficulties—BCI Group has initially built the world's first vertically integrated industrial cluster for computing infrastructure with a commercial closed-loop industrial chain in Datong, China.
Fulfilling Institutional Mission: Building Platforms to Advance Global Climate Governance
As an observer organization under the framework of the UN Climate Change Conference, All-China Environment Federation has always been committed to playing a bridging role, building multi-stakeholder green cooperation platforms, and advancing the process of global climate governance.
