The Working Committee was invited to visit the Georgian Embassy in China on the day of World Earth Day

22th Apr, delegation headed by Shi Xiang, Secretary General of "the Belt and Road" Eco-Industry Cooperation Working Committee of the All China Environment Federation paid a visit to the Georgian Embassy in China on the World Earth Day on April 22. His Excellency Archil Kalandia, the Georgian Embassy in China, extended a warm welcome to Shi Xiang and his delegation. The two sides conducted extensive exchanges on international climate change, ecological agriculture and other fields.

His Excellency Archil Kalandia first thanked China for its assistance to Georgia during the outbreak of the COVID-19, and welcomed us to Georgia to carry out international cooperation in environmental protection, climate change, ecological agriculture and other fields.

Secretary General Shi Xiang said that he would spare no effort to promote cooperation between Chinese private enterprises and Georgia in various fields. At the same time, he introduced to the Ambassador the environmental protection, ecological agriculture and other projects to be held by us this year. He said that April 22 coincided with world earth day and this meeting was of great significance.

The two sides hope to take this meeting as an opportunity to promote practical cooperation in various fields from non-governmental exchanges and promote cooperation in climate change and eco agriculture industries between China and Georgia.
