The Working Committee visited the embassy of Montenegro and Nepal to carry out exchanges in environmental protection, agriculture, economy and trade, humanities and other fields

On the afternoon of March 30, Chen Jianguo, Director of the Exhibition Department of the All China Environment Federation, Shi Xiang, Secretary General of the "Belt and Road" Eco-Industry Cooperation Working Committee, and Liu Yuanjun, Secretary General of the Water Environment Governance professional Committee, paid a visit to the Embassy of Montenegro and Nepal in China, and conducted fruitful and in-depth exchanges on environmental protection, agriculture, economy and trade, humanities and other fields.

H.E. Damir sabanovic, Minister of the Embassy of Montenegro in China, said that Montenegro has always actively participated in the "Central and Eastern Europe 17+1" Strategic Agreement, and looks forward to supporting and participating in the " the Belt and Road "High Level Round Table Conference on Economic and Environmental Cooperation organized by "Belt and Road" Eco-Industry Cooperation Working Committee of the All-China Environment Federation in the post-epidemic era after 2021.

H.E. Sushil K lamsal, Minister of the Nepalese Embassy in China, sincerely welcomed the arrival of All China Environment Federation, the "Belt and Road" Eco-Industry Cooperation Working Committee and the Water Environment Governance professional Committee. He mentioned that it is a pity that failed to participate in the "2020 Forum on water environment governance" held in Nanjing last year due to the epidemic outbreak and hope can have the opportunity to participate this year. China and Nepal are friendly neighbors and brothers to each other. Nepal is rich in hydropower reserves and has great development potential. China's technology in the field of environmental protection is relatively mature. At present, the governments of China and Nepal have cooperated in the fields of hydropower generation, energy conversion and other environmental protection, but the cooperation between non-governmental organizations is still yet developed. We earnestly hope to have in-depth cooperation with the All-China Environment Protection Federation in the fields of water conservancy, wastewater treatment and other environmental protection.
